Charles Benfer is a Ph.D student at Auburn University in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He previously was an adjunct professor of mathematics at Mount Saint Mary College. Charles has done several research projects, including  "Math Trails and Their Effectiveness in the Classroom", "Connecting Graph Theory and Linear Algebra with Markov Chains", and "Testing the Effectiveness of the New York State Regents Examinations in Mathematics."
